What you can send to Cuba by package
Before you fill the box, the usual question: can I send this? This guide puts in one place what you can send to Cuba with Paketico, what is not allowed and the weight and value limits for each package, so your shipment goes out right the first time.

The general rule
We ship everything that US law and Cuban customs allow.
What families send most is clothes and shoes, food, toiletries and over-the-counter medicine. Each guide explains how to prepare them.

What you cannot send
We do not accept weapons or ammunition, explosives, flammable products, illegal drugs or counterfeit goods.
Also, the package travels without refrigeration: do not send food that needs to be kept cold.
What needs special care
Food, toiletries and medicines (medical supplies too) always travel in their own package: they can share that box, but are never mixed with the rest of your things.
A shipment can carry up to three packages, one of each kind: “Food, hygiene and medicine”; “Miscellaneous” (clothes, shoes, toys, household items, small electronics); and “Durable goods” (appliances, computers, electrical equipment). Each item goes in the package of its kind, and you pay for them together, in one payment.
In store orders, food, toiletries and medicine also travel in their own package, paid once. If that package or the one with the other products would not reach the minimum weight on its own, they travel together in one.
If your medicine needs a prescription, ask us before including it.
Weight and value limits per package
Each package weighs 10 to 100 pounds, in whole pounds, and what’s inside can be worth up to $800. If what you want to send weighs or is worth more, split it into several packages: a shipment carries one of each kind, and whatever does not fit can go in another shipment.
The price is $5.00 per package plus $2.00 per pound: a 10-pound package costs $25.00 and a 50-pound one, $105.00. Pickup at your home is charged separately by distance. See more examples in how much it costs to ship to Cuba.
Large equipment: better with shipping included
For the things that help most with blackouts, like generators and power stations, solar panels or appliances, you don’t need to buy and pack them yourself. In our store the price already includes shipping to your family’s door, and you can buy from anywhere in the United States.
How to prepare your package, step by step
Once you know what you’re sending:
- Keep food, toiletries and medicines apart from everything else.
- Pack each box with wide tape, heavy items at the bottom and liquids in sealed bags.
- Weigh each box at home.
- Create your shipment online: choose each box’s kind and say what it holds, how much it weighs and who it’s for in Cuba.
- Choose the day and time for pickup at your home, within 100 miles of Miami, and pay with your Visa or Mastercard.
- Track your shipment until delivery, in an estimated 7 to 14 business days.
